The Road to the Vision
Founder's StoryMarch 2020 —The First Spark ✨I started my Business Administration studies in Cologne in March 2020–perfect timing, as COVID-19 decided to start its journey too.
Between lectures and lockdowns, I quickly realized that studying Business Administration was already a full-time job. Still, that didn't stop me from doing what genuinely fascinated me: researching opportunities, developing business ideas, testing different business models, and exploring which legal structure would best support future ventures. To finance my studies, I worked at a beverage supplier. During every study break, however, I was busy optimizing another project – my road trips. What started as short getaways of just a few days gradually evolved into multi-week adventures through continuous trial and error.2021 — Between France & Italia 🌴In 2021, I completed my first two-week road trip, exploring the Côte d'Azur in southern France before continuing to Italy's Lago di Garda. It was a journey that taught me some of the best ideas don't come from a classroom, but from the road.2022 —The First Big Road Trip 🌊After finishing the semester's final exam, leaving my job, and still studying Business Administration in Cologne, I packed my car, picked up my surfboard from a well-known French sports retailer, and set off on my first two-month road trip – making the most of the entire study break. The journey followed Europe's Atlantic coastline through France, Spain, and Portugal. Along the way, I spent countless hours surfing, cliff jumping, walking part of the Camino de Santiago, and embracing the unexpected adventures that naturally come with life on the road – Going with the Flow.More importantly, the trip sparked something beyond a passion for travel. It strengthened my entrepreneurial mindset, reinforced my desire for independence, and made one thing increasingly clear: I wanted to build something of my own.2023 —Inspiration turns into Vision ⭐After completing my final exams for the ongoing semester, I set off on another two-month road trip during the study break – this time following the entire coastline of the Italian peninsula.Traveling through diverse regions, cultures, and landscapes gave me more than unforgettable experiences. It provided the space to reflect, refine ideas, and shape the vision that would eventually become the foundation of my company and its identity. Looking back, many of the values that define the brand today were first developed somewhere along that coastline.March 2025 —The First Attempt ☘️After graduating with a degree in Business Administration in Cologne, I took the first serious steps toward transforming years of ideas and preparation into a real business. My goal was to establish the company in Ireland by settling there and building both a personal and business foundation. This included creating an Irish Limited Company (Ltd.) as a suitable legal structure for future operations within the European market. The journey itself became part of the story. I drove through France and the United Kingdom – where the roundabouts certainly provided some unforgettable lessons in navigation – before arriving in Ireland on Sunday, March 16, 2025, one day before
St. Patrick’s Day. A fitting and symbolic moment to begin a new chapter. In County Dublin, the first foundations of the brand began to take shape. Along Ireland’s stunning coastline in County Sligo, the logo and initial design concepts came to life – a place that also connects to my own family roots, with my grandfather’s ancestors coming from this region. It marked the moment when an idea started transforming into something tangible.May 2025 — A Strategic Pivot 📉 📈After the initial trial period in Ireland, I faced the reality that establishing myself there as an international founder came with significant practical challenges – particularly regarding housing and long-term stability. Or, to put it another way: what started with an Irish dream and some Guinness cream turned into a nightmare with some malware. Rather than forcing a situation that was not yet sustainable, I decided to return to Germany and reassess my next steps. The move also became an opportunity for a fresh start. Leaving Cologne behind was not easy, as it remains one of my favorite places, but relocating to Constance – another place close to my heart – transformed a necessary transition into a positive new chapter. Situated on the shores of Lake Constance, the city is home to a district literally called Paradise, a fitting place to continue building the company while creating a more stable foundation during its early stages.Unsurprisingly, my new ID has already sparked a few smiles –
after all, not many people can say they officially live there. It immediately reminded me of McLovin's fake ID in Superbad.2026 —The Foundation 🌱In 2026, the company officially began taking shape. After years of developing ideas, exploring possibilities, and refining the vision, the next chapter moved from planning into execution. The website went live, the brand identity was formally protected through the registration of the created logos, and development began on the very first product. What started as an idea years earlier was now becoming a tangible company with a clear direction and purpose.Today — Building the First Product 📖The journey is only beginning. The first product—a book—is currently in development and represents the next step in bringing the vision to life.More than just a product, it marks the foundation of a long-term mission: creating practical and meaningful solutions that inspire, support, and empower people around the world. What started as ideas on the road is now becoming something built to create lasting value.— Thomas George Busert, B.Sc.
